WASHINGTON, Dec 2 (Reuters) – Normal Motors Co mentioned Thursday it will lengthen a manufacturing halt at its Orion Meeting plant in Michigan, which makes the Chevrolet Bolt electrical car, by means of Jan 28.
The most important U.S. automaker in August widened its recall of the Bolt to greater than 140,000 autos to exchange battery modules and to deal with fireplace dangers after a collection of fires.
The suburban Detroit plant halted manufacturing in August however performed two weeks of restricted manufacturing at Orion beginning Nov. 1 to assist present courtesy transportation autos for purchasers throughout recall repairs.
